Started in a two-car garage over fifty years ago, ERMC began in 1961 in Elk River, Minnesota. Back then, ERMC repaired agricultural equipment for local farmers and provided trailers for the local concrete plant.
When Cretex purchased the company in 1968, the acquisition brought increased guidance, operational excellence, financial strength, ISO certification and Lean Practitioner certification. The guidance and support from Cretex is what has positioned ERMC to where the company is today. New business opportunities in concrete products, contract manufacturing, machining, welding and assembly have become core services for industrial markets and valued customers who have come to trust and depend on ERMC over the years.
After several facility expansions, ERMC resides on 11 acres and is still located in downtown Elk River, Minnesota. The company holds fast to their enduring values of quality, Certified Value™ and a partnership approach to doing business under the support and strength of their parent company, Cretex.
