Elk River Machine Company automatic concrete pipe handling machinery are designed to work with new packer head machines and other dry cast pipe making equipment. Elk River Machine Company has a full line of automatic machinery from the in feed of pallet to cranes, tipping, cleaning and removing of pallets.

Elk River Machine Company can automate packer head operations as well as other pipe manufacturing operations. This upgrades can be completed at an investment level well below a new plant installation. Where existing building and pipe machines are reused and incorporated into the automatic process.

Easy Load Mesh Loading System
Piloted bearings put the machine rolls in the correct position at assembly. No further adjustment is required
The extra large flattening roll system provides greater traction for improved cage quality.
All the rolls are fully machined to provide the most precise rolling system in the industry.
A single drive motor provides all the power required to operate the CMR mesh roller.
Flattening the mesh correctly and precisely enables you to produce a much better cage. With the Hydra Roll system flattening adjustments are as easy as turning a crank on the flattening roll system so cage consistency will never be an issue.
Shear blades are reversible for multiple cutting edges. Two large cylinders provide the power, to the shear system.
Electronic sensors make it possible for the shear to cut at any specified dimension from the cross wire.
The Hydra Roll highly advanced computer system includes programs for Arch, Elliptical, Elliptical round and standard round cages. New features on the CMR 4 include touch screen with on screen maintenance schedules and troubleshooting.
Safety is a big concern at ERMC. The Hydra Roll has emergency stops and kick bars at several locations around the machine.
